Astute Electronics to distribute Epsilor’s batteries to the defence industry
Epsilor has signed an agreement with franchised global distributor and procurement specialist Astute Electronics to supply Epsilor’s solutions to the defence industry.
Astute, one of the world’s premier distributors of electronic components, will distribute Epsilor’s high-end rechargeable and primary batteries and charger systems to customers worldwide. Astute is headquartered in the UK with sales offices in Australia, China, India, Israel, Mexico, Turkey and the USA.
“The partnership with Astute is a natural match for Epsilor as both companies excel in their field,” said Ronen Badichi, president of Epsilor. “Astute’s added value lies in the fact that unlike other distributors they have an internal engineering infrastructure which is crucial for High-Rel customers seeking complicated and sophisticated solutions. I am sure that we will see fruits from this alliance in the near future.”
“We are excited to represent Epsilor across the globe and offer a first point of contact for technical advice, design-in expertise and product development,” announced Richard Ford, Power Products divisional manager for Astute. “Epsilor’s name is synonymous with the most advanced military batteries and portable power solutions.”
“The partnership with Astute is already underway and we have visited together potential customers, that expressed great interest in Epsilor’s products,” said Merav Kolody Shubeli, Director, International Sales and Marketing at Epsilor. “We have conducted a training workshop to Astute sales executives and we were very impressed with their professional level.”
Both Epsilor and Astute will participate in the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) show, which will take place in London, England on September 12-15, 2017, where Epsilor will launch a new line of energy products.
